TalenTrail Day 2: My Community, My Career

April 24, 2024 | Canitoan National High School

On the second day of the transformative Talentrail program at Canitoan National High School, excitement filled the air as 100 students eagerly delved deeper into their journey of self-discovery and career exploration.

The day began with a dynamic session led by Mr. Jerwin S. Borres, Chairperson of DTCM, who captivated the audience with Design Thinking Part 2: Ideation & Prototyping. Building upon the empathy and definition phase from the previous day, students were guided through the creative process of generating ideas and bringing them to life through prototyping. Mr. Borres' expertise illuminated the path for students to envision innovative solutions to real-world challenges within their community.

Following this inspiring session, Ms. Herna Francis Mae B. Tano, Executive Director of Andam Higala Inc., took the stage to lead Input 4 & Workshop: Project Planning. With her wealth of experience in community development, Ms. Tano empowered students to translate their ideas into actionable projects. Through interactive workshops, students learned the intricacies of project planning, from setting objectives to crafting timelines and budgets. Ms. Tano's guidance equipped students with the tools and confidence to initiate meaningful change within their community while honing their project management skills.

As the day concluded, the hall buzzed with enthusiasm and anticipation for the impact they could make in their community. Talentrail had not only ignited a passion for career exploration but also instilled a sense of responsibility and empowerment within each student.

Stay tuned for more updates as Talentrail continues to inspire and empower the youth to create positive change in their communities and beyond.
