Helping our community is one way to mitigate the impacts of trying times. When we stand as a one, we are already making a difference. We do not know how many steps it would take in beating the challenge, but it will always be worth it.

In times of crisis, all of us are affected but women and children face  unique challenges. Women may lack access to basic health services and as much as we want to ensure that their needs are provided, we also would want to give comfort to our children whose happy and normal lives are greatly affected. The pandemic have worsened many lives and aside from food, sanitary health kits are one of the basic needs  as a defense against the invisible enemy.

With the help of FundForward Initiative in reaching more people and all other gift givers who chose to engage with Andam Higala by donating in any ways, 80 families have already received sanitary health kits. A kit includes shampoos, toothpastes, alcohol, detergents, bleach, hand soaps, feminine pads and other essentials like lady pills, vitamins, powdered milk and additional of macaroni salad pasta.
