Andam Eba 3.0
LAWIG EBA: ALSA NG KABABAIHAN
ABOUT THE PROJECT
One of our proudest initiatives is the "Lawig Eba: Andam Eba 3.0 Project," which addresses the economic vulnerability faced by the wives of quarrymen in Isla Bugnaw, Barangay Consolacion. Guided by community needs and supported by partners such as Ayala Foundation and J. Amado Araneta Foundation, this project aims to provide alternative livelihoods and increase employability through skills training and entrepreneurship development.
Over a six-month period, we equipped 15 quarrymen wives with entrepreneurial skills, facilitated by the Community Improvement Division. Through rigorous training and mentorship, these women were empowered to establish small income-generating businesses, with 8 out of 15 successfully increasing their monthly net income by 10%.
From pre-implementation community scanning to post-implementation business legalization, every phase of the project was meticulously planned and executed. Through dedication and perseverance, these women have not only transformed their own lives but have also become beacons of hope within their community.
At Higala Network, we are committed to creating a world where every individual has the opportunity to thrive. Join us in our mission to empower communities and transform lives. Together, we can build a brighter future for all.
